The Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Kaduna State Chapter, Mallam Mikailu Abubakar, has extended warm Eid-el-Fitr greetings to Muslims in Kaduna State and across Nigeria, urging citizens and political actors to embrace unity, tolerance, and responsible leadership.
In a statement issued to newsmen in Kaduna, Mall. Abubakar congratulated the Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, describing the period as one of deep reflection, sacrifice, and commitment to moral and spiritual values.
He said the lessons of Ramadan patience, selflessness, and discipline should serve as a guiding principle not only in personal conduct but also in political engagement and leadership across all levels.
Speaking on the role of political stakeholders, the IPAC Chairman emphasized the need for political parties and leaders to prioritize national interest above personal or party gains, stressing that peaceful coexistence and mutual respect are essential for sustainable democracy.
He said, “Eid-el-Fitr offers us a unique opportunity to reflect on our responsibilities as leaders and citizens.
We must promote dialogue, uphold democratic values, and work collectively to strengthen unity within our political system and the society at large.”
Mall. Abubakar further called on citizens to remain law-abiding and actively support initiatives that promote peace, development, and good governance in Kaduna State and Nigeria.
He reaffirmed IPAC’s commitment to fostering collaboration among political parties, ensuring credible democratic processes, and promoting inclusiveness in governance.
While wishing Muslims a joyful and peaceful Sallah celebration, he prayed for continued peace, stability, and prosperity in Kaduna State and the nation.
